I play with dozens of cell phones, smartphones, and Pocket PC Phones and when I have to send them back, I have to do a hard reset so I don’t give some company all my contacts, etc… Well, sometimes this is not a simple task. Often times this information is not in the user’s manual. Many carriers don’t seem to like to share this info for some reason. Another hurdle is that almost every device has their own procedure. Some devices have software commands that start a hard reset, but most of the time, this is a hold down these keys while standing on your head and counting to 20 backwards trick. This site is here to serve as a place to gather these procedures. If there is one that needs to be known, but not here, let us know and I will the answer posted here.

having recently acquired a samsung glide i am confronted with the prompt, **ENTER PHONE LOCK CODE.** and, of course, i haven’t a clue at to what that might be. in order to make use of this investment i’ve either have to come up with (or skirt) the code or reset the phone. please help.
